Hemorrhoids Home Remedy – Good Home Remedy For Hemorrhoids
If you suffer from hemorrhoids, you know as well as I do that HEMORRHOIDS STINK! They are literally a pain in the butt, and when it comes to treatment, good hemorrhoids relief is hard to come by. There is, however, a good hemorrhoids home remedy available that you can use to ease your pain. Before I discuss the hemorrhoids home remedy though, it is important that you understand what hemorrhoids are, what causes them, and what some symptoms are.
So what are hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins located in the lower end of the anus. They are often very painful and hard to deal with. Something as simple as just sitting in a chair at the dinner table becomes nearly impossible without feeling some sort of pain or discomfort. If you’ve ever had hemorrhoids, you know exactly what I’m talking about. “But why do I have hemorrhoids?”
Causes
Hemorrhoids are quite common and are caused by elevated stress or strain in the veins of the anus. They are usually a result of straining during bowel movements, constipation, sitting down for too long. They are also very common in pregnant women, during and after giving birth. Note that there are internal and external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are those that are just inside the anus. External are those that are at the entrance to the anus. Either way, they’re both not the most pleasant thing to deal with!
Symptoms
There are quite a few symptoms, including, but not limited to:
– itchy anus
– pain in the anus, particularly while sitting
– blood in your stool
– painful bowel movements
– anal lumps
If you suffer from one or more of these symptoms, you may have hemorrhoids. Check with a doctor to be sure. They will simply check the anus for any lumps and take note of any symptoms you may be having. They may suggest some sort of medication, or even surgery, if the hemorrhoids are severe enough. However, a hemorrhoids home remedy is usually all that is needed.
To prevent this painful anal lumps from forming, try to keep from straining during bowel movements. Also drink at least 64 ounces of water per day to reduce constipation. It is recommend that you eat a lot a foods high in fiber to keep your digestive tracts clean.
If you are currently suffering, here is a good hemorrhoids home remedy. Locate the lumps near around your anus. Gently massage on and around the lumps for 30 to 60 seconds at a time. Then take a 30 to 60 second break. Do this 5 times. This will help keep the blood flowing through the lumps you feel (the veins).
Another hemorrhoids home remedy some people like to use is to alternate the massaging techniques with an ice cube treatment. As humans are warm-blooded, blood will naturall pool in warmer areas of your body. A little ice cube treatment will help “chase” some of the blood out of your veins. Massage, then ice, then massage, then ice. Repeat that cycle for a total of 5 times. You should notice that your hemorrhoids begin to slowly disappear in a few days time.
