GunBlood
Gunblood is an addictive flash game from WolfGames. Gunblood is set up as a western style gun-fight game that tests your reflexes with the mouse to shoot your challenger before they shoot you. Gunblood has 9 levels of difficulty, with various challenges.
The basic challenge of the game it to shoot the opposing gunman before they shoot you in a one-on-one fight. Before the game starts you can chose from 10 different avatars. Each Avatar has a unique look with various colors, costumes or scars. All the avatars are done in the style of a western cowboy.
After choosing an avatar your enter your first shoot off. Hold your mouse pointer over the gun chamber located below your avatar. There is a count down from 3 to 1 then fire. When the screen says fire, you move your mouse to aim at the assailant, and click to fire. There are 6 rounds in the chamber so you only get 6 chances to shoot your opponent. The graphics are quite good, from small wounds spurting blood, to blowing the top of your opponents head clean off. Although it’s in flash this touch of gore adds to the experience of the game.
The levels vary from having fast opponents to having alternative goals. In one higher level the assailant tosses bottles at your avatar and the goal of the round is to shoot the bottles, not the assailant. In a similar level, an assailant is balancing bottles on his head and arms, and again you need to aim for the bottles. These levels are particularly challenging for aim, and less challenging of the reflexes.
The biggest challenge in the game, other than the aim, is waiting for the countdown. With the gore of the graphics and the realism of testing your reflexes it’s easy to jump the gun and move your mouse too soon of the gun chamber. This starts the count down over.
If you’re looking for a free game that will really test your reflexes and aim, check out Gunblood.
