past students is a list of who’s who in the entertainment business. If you can get it, it is a
great place to learn the craft and meet people you will be working with the rest of your
career.

An Agent for your Career — You are going to need an agent if you want to make it in
showbiz. They have the connections and they keep the wheels of your career greased, no
matter what aspect of the business you are in.

Write your own script — Hey, be the next Sly Stallone or Matt Damon and Ben Affleck
and write your own movie to star in. It’s a long shot, but you may just fall in love with the
process of writing or find out that you are better at it.

Think outside the box. It’s a tough business with long hours. Get your feet wet in some
aspect to see if it is something you want to peruse full time.
