Futurama first aired in 1999, where it lasted for four years on Fox. The Cartoon Network picked it up in 2003 and it aired on that channel until 2007. Comedy Central and 20th Century Fox Television syndicated the remaining shows. New episodes of the show were aired in 2008. In 2010 26 new episodes were aired.
Futurama has had an incredible run. Even when one network dropped it, another one was there to pick it up. This speaks to the popularity of the show.
