Unlocked Palm Treo 755P
I think first real smartphone was built by Palm and they have come a long way since then. There latest phone is the Palm Treo 755p. This phone is seriously solid and very sleek piece of hardware. It is quite big too; in fact it is bigger than some other full QWERTY devices like BlackBerry Curve etc. But bigger phone means bigger keypad which makes it easier to type your emails, send sms and instant messing easier and faster. The screen is bright and crisp with 65,000 color output and 320×320 pixel resolution. The image and the text appear clear and sharp. The touchscreen is responsive and works very well.
It also comes with a full QWERTY keyboard which makes emailing, instant messaging and sms-ing very easy. The keys are soft and they have a nice feedback so you can know when you press the keys. It has an integrated Bluetooth, EVDO support and built in instant messaging app and preinstalled Google Maps which is a cool bit of software, very useful if you want to find some place or if you are lost. It also has the direct push technology.
This phone comes with 2.5 headset jack… this is not cool as you cannot use your favorite headphone with this handset. So you will have to stick to the headphone that you get with this handset. The multi-connecter port might be useful here as it might let you connect to 3.5 mm headphone. There are external controls to adjust volume. A launch key is provided to launch any application that you like at the touch of a button, it is set to voice recorder by default but you can change it to anything you want. There is miniSD expansion slot which is very useful if you want to add additional memory to this phone to store more music, videos, documents etc. Palm has also proved infrared port with this phone in case you need to use that to control stuff. The camera lens is on the back of the device along with the speaker and the stylus holder. The call quality of Palm Treo 755p is excellent; you can hear the phone ringing even in the most crowded and noisy place. Buy this phone today.
