My Wedding Memento
I still could not forget the days when my husband got down on his knees to make a proposal with a pair of links of London earrings.
“But why did you want to give me the earrings but not finger ring to make it, I ask him” I asked him. He said nothing but one sentence,” Just because you like it”.
In deed, I like the links of London earrings all since I had one sight at them. I would like to do anything to get them, no matter how hard I would be.
I met my husband in links of London jewelry store, he was a salesman then, I was just a college student. That day, I took my pounds gained from my pat-time job only, wandering to buy one earring of a pair. His smiled to me and said,” What can I do for you?”
I said nothing but smiled to him and looked around to find one I could afford, and he just smiled to me and looked at my face.
I left without one affordable, which repeated no less than three times.
The forth time I entered his store, he gave me a small paper when I left again, it said,“I like your smile, would you like to be my girlfriend?”
We get in touch with each other since then, and three years later, we have our own house and baby.
I could never forgot that day he make a proposal to me.

Half a year later I asked him the reason, his answer surprised me greatly, he thought me as a hard-working and kind girl since the first time I went into his store to choose the earrings. I also got to know that the reason why he didn’t give me a finger ring but earrings, he said that it just because of his whishes to give me a perfect wish.
Links of London jewelry is our lucky store. Though I could not afford the valued jewelry but I still hope to buy a pair of links of London finger rings to give one half to him, just wish to connect our love.
