Article Marketing – Your Crash Course to Excel Part2

Here’s the continuation of the first part of this article series. Read on to get more tips and techniques that can help you excel in the field of article marketing.

  1. Tell your readers what’s in it for them on your introduction. These people would surely want to know what’s in store for them. So, give them an idea about the information that you’re giving out on your first couple of sentences. You don’t need to tell them everything on this part. Just give them something to hold on to and leave them wanting for more. If you do this perfectly, you’ll easily be able to get your audience to read your copies until the end.
  2. Write your articles. Educating or helping your readers should be your number one priority when writing your articles. No, it’s not talking about the products or services that you sell. Know what kind of information that these people are looking for and offer them exactly that. They may be in need of answers to their questions, guides to reach their personal and professional goals, or solutions to their problems.
  3. Keep it simple. There’s no need to make your articles too difficult to understand. So, avoid using big words and highly technical terms. Help your audience understand the points that you’re trying to get across the first time they read your articles. You can do this by using lay man’s terms and simple, short sentences. It will also help if you discuss each of your ideas or main points using short paragraphs.
  4. Keep it real. By this, I simply mean stick with facts. The last thing that you would like to do is to misinform your readers. Verify all the information you have included in your articles before you share them with your readers.
  5. Submit your articles to ezinearticles (EZA). There are so many article directories in the online arena today but EZA remains to be the best and most reputable. This is the reason why it’s recommended that you put in on top of your list when distributing your articles. Their requirements are very basic and you need to follow them otherwise, they’ll reject your articles. They will accept copies that are well-written, 100% unique, properly optimized, and those that contain just the right amount of keywords.
  6. Use your articles as web content. After EZA accepted your articles, go ahead and use them on your website and blog. It’s best if you insert links on these articles that will take your readers to the other pages of your blog or website. Through this, you’ll be able to create more internal links that can help in pulling up your page ranking.
  7. Use other directories. Last step is to publish your articles to the rest of the directories. The more article marketing sites you use, the more exposure your articles will get.
