Sunscreen for Kids
There are many different types of sunscreen out there for kids. Before you choose which kind you want to use ask yourself a few questions.
What activities will you be doing while wearing sunscreen?
Which kind is easiest to apply and re-apply?
Are you using it on your face or body?
Which feels the most comfortable on your skin?

Cream sunscreens
Sunscreen lotions
Spray sunscreens
Colored sunscreens
and finally Powder sunscreens
A few things you need to consider before applying sunscreen for kids. You always want to make sure if the child has sensitive skin you apply sunscreen for sensitive skin. Most parents when they are trying to find sunscreen for their kids just get confused about which one that they just get the one with the most SPF. This is a good start just make sure you consider what type of skin your child has, with a more fair skin you might want to use the higher one with normal skin you could go with a little less SPF. Most the time if you prefer more protection it will not hurt to use the highest protection just to be safe.
Most parents try to go with a brand that is made for kids, such as Banana Boat for kids, Coppertone Kids, Neutrogena Pure as well as other brands that are made specifically for kids. While it is okay to buy the ones made especially for kids they are not much different from adult sunscreens. Remember that it is not better just because it cost more.

There are also natural sunscreens out there if you prefer natural. Pristine Planet, Goddess garden, and Squidoo are a few brands that have natural sunscreens. These will not caontain some of the harmful chemicals that other sunscreen may contain. Just depends on your preference.
