France has had their struggles in recent matches, as they played very poorly in June and November. The  2010 defending Grand Slam champions will be looking to bounce back, and prove they are still one of the team’s to beat in this year’s six nations tournament. In the teams last test match, they were soundly beaten 59-16 by the Australia Wallabies.

Scotland will be looking for their first victory over the defending champions since coming away victorious in 2006, as they beat France 20-16 at Murrayfield stadium in  Edinburgh.

In head to head meetings since 2006, France has won four out of the five matchups.
