NEW BRUNSWICK
The Acadian Coastal Drive is one of five scenic drives that showcase the diversity and uniqueness of the province. There are many places to visit: stroll along the boardwalk of one of the continent’s few remaining great sand dunes, the Irving Eco-Centre: La Dune de Bouctouche. Formed over 2,000 years ago, this 12 kilometre-long dune is a habitat for rare plants, animals and birds. Just down the road is Kouchibouguac National Park which offers irresistible opportunities for saltwater swimming, hiking, camping and cycling.
NEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR
Experience the exhilaration of standing at the very edge of North America. Visit Cape Spear National Historic Site, just 15 minutes from St. John’s is the most eastern point in Canada, and all of North America where each new day begins. It is also the place that the power of the North Atlantic is majestically unleashed, with every wave sent crashing against the rocks. Seabirds and humpbacks move in harmony against a backdrop of charming coastal communities and warm welcomes.
NOVA SCOTIA
The Cabot Trail winds its way around Cape Breton Island where towering highlands, set against a vibrant blue sky, tumble to the sea, creating panoramas of singular beauty. Stride along spectacular hiking trails. Visit one of the many folk art studios along the way. Or listen to traditional live music played in communities across the Island. See why Travel + Leisure Magazine named Cape Breton the best island to visit in the continental US and Canada.
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Known as Canada’s smallest and greenest province, Prince Edward Island is cradled on the waves of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The Island’s rolling landscape is ringed with soft white-sand beaches you can beachcomb along for kilometers. Fill your days by wandering through wonderful antique shops, farmers’ markets and pastoral villages where you can sample delicious culinary treats fresh from the sea. We’re small enough for you to explore the Island from tip to tip.
