Custom auto interiors can mean different things to different people. It may be as fundamental as getting a name embroidered on a seat to having the whole inside of the vehicle redone.
Where older cars are concerned, custom auto interiors usually means restoring the car to the way it was when it was originally made. Power windows are a good feature, rather easy to add to a car, but many with vintage cars will keep the handle and do it by hand, as that was how the car was designed. I can see that. Living in the south, I would have a harder time not installing air conditioning to an older car. It simply gets hot. Although that kind of change can start to get a bit expensive. Another modern day convenience that has become commonplace in our cars is our music. And by which I mean not what the radio stations want to play, but what we want to listen to. Whether that means having a compact disk player or a jack for your mp3 player, that can be a change far and away from what the manufacturer had originally planned.
We do like almost every toys though. And as a people, we adore our cars. As technology frees us from so many things, making things quicker, I realize we are busier than we were. And we have a tendency to spend an inordinate amount of time in our vehicles. Especially if you live in a big city.
Since we do spend so much time there, we like to be comfortable. Therefore, custom auto interiors might mean just installing things here and there that will make your journey more comfortable. Perhaps you would like heated seats, a TV or two in the back for the kids, a GPS system permanently installed, or just new seat covers as yours have worn out.
Basically anything that you can think of can be done to the interior of a car. If making a change to your interior is something you are considering doing, you should check around and see what all is out there. I am sure people have done things you haven’t thought of yet.
