Below is a list of top five new compact executives you might want to consider taking out for a test drive.
The top five cars to consider are the BMW 3 series Saloon, the Mercedes-Benz C Class Saloon, the Audi A4 Saloon, the Volvo S60 Saloon and the Lexus IS Saloon.
The BMW gets the nod for being the best compact executive car to get. And although the prices are a bit steep the engines are superb and fuel economy great.
Runner up is the Mercedes Benz where even the cheapest model is well equipped and comes with lots of safety kit. But prices are high and the sports models are said to be a bit too firm.
The Audi A4 gets third spot. It isn’t as exciting to drive as the BMW 3 series but because of its more reasonable list price, owning this car makes it a contender for many. It’s also said to be a good, grippy car to ride with plenty of powerful engine models to choose from.
The Volvo S60 comes in behind the Audi in fourth. It is described as classy and comfortable and reasonably priced, although you would have to opt for a diesel engine to get the best model.
The Lexus IS comes in fifth and is described as reliable but perhaps a bit too noisy. To test out the new Lexus, Southend in Essex has a dealership you can visit.
