My Friend Gemma
By day, my friend Gemma is a Maidstone Divorce solicitor. She is extremely successful. She handles all kinds of high profile cases and her excellent reputation has clients queueing up at her door.. She has had her own practice for almost ten years and was recently nominated for business personality of the year, in her local area. She is sleek and sophisticated.
By night or simply off duty, my friend Gemma is altogether different. She is flamboyant, outrageous and great fun to be with. Her appearance is striking. She has the perfect hourglass figure, long black hair and piercing blue eyes. She is single and can have her pick of the gentleman and very often does! She can drink most people under the table, and usually drinks the hard stuff.
In contrast I am a very shy individual and her antics often make me blush. We were once waiting in a traffic jam and she flashed the truck driver waiting next to us. He more than appreciated it! She has streaked at numerous public events but thankfully never been caught. My friend Gemma is a real character.
I am sure many people have a friend like this. Its just high jinx I suppose. However we are both in our early forties and I think our evenings out should be a little calmer. A lovely meal at a popular eatery. Maybe a trip to the theatre followed by a quick night cap and an early night. I would like to have cultural weekend trips to Europe. Hotel breaks spent soaking in a hot tub rather than mad weekends spent soaking in Champagne.
I suppose I will have to love her just way she is and in all honesty I would not change her for the world!
