Steve Daines – Jobs
The people in this state understand that economic growth does not come from Government stimulus plans. At the current deficit levels the Government simply is not in a position to create jobs on a long term basis to try to push the economy forward. Now, as in the past, real jobs that pay decent wages and give people the opportunity to take care of their families will be created by hard working people, entrepreneurs, and small to large businesses in Montana and across the country.
My beliefs on how to create jobs aren’t just idle chatter; I have done it over 26 years in business, most recently here in Bozeman Montana. The company I joined in the year 2000 had 100 employees. It has now grown to over 1000 people working in high paying careers. It is through this experience that I firmly believe that the best way for America to create high paying jobs is to allow small businesses to do what they do best; invest, grow, and hire new employees. The fastest way to slow business growth is When Government adds burdensome regulations, raises taxes, and creates uncertainty.
