Bargain plastic surgery not a good idea

Cosmetic and plastic surgery had seen a double digit increase in business every year since it has been documented, but this year it saw a small percentage of decrease. Just like all other companies and services plastic and cosmetic surgeons are feeling the economic down turn, and have no choice but to offer their services for a little bit less than they use to. Although they are offering their services for less, due to the hard place most Americans are in there prices are still steep. Americans are looking to stay youthful and beautiful but not pay the grueling cost of the best plastic surgeons. Bargain shopping for plastic surgery has become a trend, and with many uncertified “plastic surgeons” this trend becomes more dangerous. Recent bill boards have advertised such things like buy one breast implant and get the other free.

One thing patients must know when going in to plastic surgery is if a surgeon offers them something that sounds too good to be true, it more than likely is. When undergoing any plastic surgeon whether the surgeon seems to be great or not, the patient should still verify the surgeon’s background. Make sure the surgeon performing ones breast implants Boston is a board certified surgeon who study a specialty and not someone who only trained to do plastic surgery. Recently “surgeons” have been offering things like breast augmentation with local anesthesia instead of general anesthesia making the procedure cheaper. This of course can be very dangerous; there is a risk of the patient waking up during surgery. Generally Board certified plastic surgeon would not have their patients undergo a procedure like Boston breast Implants with only local anesthetics. In order to verify a surgeon is board certified one can check online and find their name on the list, if the surgeon one is interested in using is not on the list there is also a number one could call. There are several surgeons who claim to be board certified, one must make sure that the surgeon is certified by the American board of plastic surgery and not my the American Board of medical specialties because that means there field is something completely different and he or she is only adding such thing to the repertoire with minimal training.

These surgeons are not qualified to perform procedures in hospitals but in their own medical vicinities making it extremely dangerous if anything goes wrong. Recently in the news a women who bargained for a tummy tuck Boston and liposuction Boston for best results developed what she thought was an allergic reaction or normal side affect. She soon found out she had a bacterial infection because her “surgeon” had been reusing liposuction tubes. When something like this occurs and the surgeon has no real means to treat the patient and has no real knowledge of the field, the patient has no choice but to go to the emergency room for an answer. All low cost plastic surgery is not bad Like wise all expensive plastic surgery is not good. It is ones responsibility to always get several professional opinions, Research into the surgeons background and always look at their before and after pictures. If a surgeon does not have a booklet of his patients before and after pictures this might a red flag.
