Apple iPad Date of Release

The list of resellers putting the iPad up for offer is growing and growing. There’s always going to be the smaller ‘mom and pop’ electronics shops that get Apple’s blessing as a reseller. But when some of the ‘big boys’ step up to the plate, that’s where some real heavy-duty sales are made. Case in point, Target has begun selling the iPad today.

If you have a Target store in your area, you can head on down to the location to check out iPad availability in-store. No online sales via Target’s website just yet, however, some nice accessories are available at Target.com. Quite a number of iPad cases are available, including the ‘default’ iPad case from Apple, you know, the one his Steveness showed off at the original iPad announcement.

When it comes to price you’re not going to save anything by purchasing from Target. Pricing remains the same as you’d find in any Apple retail store, or via Apple online. That said, we hear a promotion is coming to Target soon that will give Target credit card holders an additional 5% discount on all purchases. Not a huge savings, but still. anything less than full-sticker price is always a bonus.
