My sister’s big wedding
For the next few weeks I will be busy organising my sister’s wedding, from the brides shoes to venue finding, it’s all down to me and my husband. Planning and organising a wedding is very stressful, so to take the load off her I offered to help out but somehow I have ended up with doing everything.
The only thing that she is actually going to do is chose her wedding dress but if it was up to her she would have made me do that too. Lucky for me, organising this wedding won’t be stressful at all, as I still have my wedding planning folder that has everything I need.
I have already decided on the colour theme for the wedding, so now I need to find the accessories for the reception venue, flowers and the bridesmaid’s dresses. As the chief bridesmaid it is up to me to organise the shopping day for our dresses, but trying to get the same day off is very difficult.
I left the grooms and the best mans outfit to my husband as the groom is his best mate and he is the best man so at least it’s one less headache for me. The first thing I need to do before I even think about the clothes is the wedding venue because without that we won’t have a wedding to wear the clothes.
Once I find the venue, everything else will fall into place, I’ll be able to see how many table accessories I need and start the planning the seating arrangement. Really hope I can arrange everything before the wedding date.
