  • That’s everything you have to know to SEO of each page of your website. Let’s go through them.

    Title tag

The title tag is the most important factors for getting high rank in the search engines because it tells Google what your page is about. Keep Focus on a primary and a secondary keywords for your website page. Use primary keywords at the beginning of title tag and secondary keyword at the end. Make your title easily readable for the reader so you get click troughs. If your titles tags are longer than 8-10 words then that scanning becomes more difficult and may be overlooked by the searchers So it should be 8-10 words or 50-80 characters. Make sure your title tag is relevant to the content of your web page. always use unique title tag for every website page and if your pages may be seen as duplicate content and Google may not list you in its index! For punctuation use the pipe (|) symbol or dash (-).

    Meta Tags

Meta description tag is a summary of your site seen on google search results page. Use primary keywords in the description and one or two secondary keywords if you can. But it should be appear natural! Length of description tag should be 25-30 words or about 160-180 characters, including spaces. The description tag must make sense to a reader.

    Meta keywords tag

The meta keyword tag is not so important these days. I just suggest you put your primary and secondary keywords there with a few variations. Do not use more than 7-10 relevant keywords, or it will look like keyword stuffing! and make sure you have different meta keywords for every page while optimizing.

    Heading tags: H1, H2, H3

Always use one H1 heading tag for one page and use your primary keyword in your H1 tag if you can. The H1 tag doesn’t need to be as SEO focused as your title tag. It is the main title of the content in the page. H2 and H3 are subheadings put your secondary keywords there if you can. Don’t stuff keywords.

    Image Alt tags

Give keyword rich names to all your images eg, design-and-development.png. always make sure that your names are rich and diverse, not web1.png, web2.png etc. If you have an image that isn’t relevant eg, banner or a background, give it a number eg, a.png, b.png. Google ignores these images. The alt tag should not be more than 70-80 characters.

    Relevancy

Google rewards you if you put relevant content on your web page. Always first Ask yourself, "if someone searched for this keyword will he came to my page or not, would they find it relevant to their search." Google monitors how long your visitors stick around, so if the answer to the above question is "yes" then you’re going right.

    Reputable links

You’re reputable if your site is linked with relevant, related and reputable websites. But first you have to look reputable! means make sure you have quality content on your website which value to your readers. Quality content means a more and more chances of getting quality links. It is the most important step in Search Engine Optimization. Google and other search engines like yahoo, and bing will see a link from another website to your page as a vote by that website for you. Bookmark your page on high page rank and famous social networking sites like Twitter, facebook,, Digg, delicious and many more. Where your valuable content will attract many link partners from interested parties which takes just a couple of minutes. another useful tactic is forum post or a blog post. Read posts and the comments and add your own comment that adds to the discussion.

    Anchor text

Getting your keywords into the anchor text of the link is the best SEO you can do! avoid link with the text "click here" and Instead, use linking text which contains the keywords you want to rank for. Finally, to look more reputable, I’d recommend you don’t use non sense URLs like abc.com/a/abc123.html and make sure your page name is neat, small and descriptive.
