It is said that, a new anime will be made for the light novel series about a boy, a highschool boy named Niwa Makoto, who is living with his aunt and her family. While there he gets to know his cousin who was missing for a year and a half before being found in the ocean. She thinks that this to be the work of aliens and so she wraps herself in her futon, calls herself an alien and eats pizza.
After reading the synopsis and watching the girl’s picture, Somehow I am reminded of Matsuzawa from Watashitachi no Tamura. I mean, I know their have been a lot of stories where a char says they are from outer space and whatnot, but I still found it very endearing how her char associated with the main protagonist. It’d be quite nice if it had a similar feeling as that was(though this looks like it’s more light-hearted than that the story actually was).

Review :
The story is about junior high school student named Harukaze Asuna, who is a member of the girl’s Soft Tennis club. She longs to win the national championship some day. However, she realizes the school life she has is filled with erotic wild fancies.
One thing I gotta say s that, it’s a comedy anime with sports, not a sports anime with comedy, if that’s what you’re asking.
Anyway, This show is amazingly funny. And the characters are really cute., with Itou Kanae as the director thus it’s already the best show among the April new anime series for me. And I just only watched this one episode.
Oh, I can’t wait for the next episode already. Itou Shizuka’s Chitose is really wacky and fun to watch.

Review:
I have mixed my feelings about this anime. Firstly, the humor is rather good. You get to keep in the right mood for it though, since it’s reallyfast-paced and the jokes are maybe the funniest if you were ten years old (In my heart, I am a kid). The scene of Harumi running away was especially hilarious, huh. Perfect choice in music.
So let’s lay out the whole thing here: Dororon Enma-kun was actually a horror-comedy manga series created by Go Nagai, famous for his unique work, such as Devilman, Mazinger Z and Cutie Honey. It’s already gotten adapted in other ways before, like remakes, anime adaption series, and pretty more. Now, Brains Base is making and carving it his own, and no one other than Yoshitomo Yonetani (the director of GaoGaiGar) is directing. It’s a great line-up, but does it make for a good show?
Nevertheless, I can’t yet figure out what the show’s target audience group is. They have humor suited for children, and then they put in the sagging old lady, the enemy’s lance, and flipping people’s skirts. I guess I should never be surprised…
Hyouge Mono Anime
Series name : Hyouge Mono
Type :TVTags :Military,Historical,Seinen
Status :Ongoing
Synopsis :
The background of the story is set during Japan’s Sengoku Jidai (Era of the Warring States) and primarily on Sasuke Furuta, a vassal of the great warlord Nobunaga Oda and a man obsessed with tea ceremony and material desires is in his pursuit of a fortuitous life. Having learned from Oda and the legendary tea master Sen no Soueki, Furuta walks the way of the “Hyouge Mono”.
I really don’t doubt this would be the most underrated show of the season. It’s just totally vain of just about any trope that you usually see in the popular anime: there is no moe whatsoever, nor any bishies. Instead the lead characters are all in their 30′s; there is no youth in this show whatsoever. Meanwhile, the story takes place during the samurai age, still there hardly any battles, with this instead being a dialogue-centred series. I dare say this is an anime for the old. Above that, this is Bee-Train, so there is a lot of focus on talking heads. The soundtrack is completely weird and unconventional and the characters all tend to make silly faces. And I absolutely loved this first episode. It’s completely unlike any other anime series set in the general Samurai Age, especially the main character is unique, with his really weird combination of silly facial expressions and down to earth dialogue. Still, his characterization is excellent, and with Bee-Train, the build-up also was just terrific. Most of this episode was quiet, but the climax of this Hyouge Mono episode 1 was already amazing.

Synopsis :
The story revolves around the everyday life of four high school girls: the flighty Run, the reckless Tooru, the timid Yuuko, and the level-headed Nagi.I just happen to find information about this. My knowledge of the manga is quite limited. However I can say with no doubt that I have abundant interest to give thenew anime series a try. For reasons that should be obvious.
That and the girl on the cover with the bat interests me a bit. Although I’m quite sure that the other girls might get potential. That being said only time will tell in regards to how much I like every girl.
With only one volume released, I’d suspect a one cour series. That in the other words, I think sometimes anime might end up adapting material that’s been out in some magazines, but not collected in huge form.
Showa Monogatari Episode 1
Showa Monogatari Anime
Series name :Showa Monogatari
Type :TV
Tags :Comedy,Romance,Drama
Status :Ongoing
Synopsis :
The story follows the Yamazaki family in Tokyo during the year 1964 (the Year Showa 39), which is when Japan hosted the Summer Olympics. Supposedly, this is the “first” anime that is aimed at seniors, though it is also aimed at families in general. In addition, this is the ever first anime aimed at seniors, am I right? I’m quite sure how successful it can or will be. I’ve always felt like anime, simply by virtue of the medium, appeals to a younger generation. I guess it depends on how they define senior, whether a truly old person, or just someone out of their usual demographic. I also wonder what kind of compelling story can be brought out of just following a family around during a year of the Olympics besides the usual family drama. Do you see this being a success? Are you interested enough to watch?
The film version will last about 100 minutes long and open in Japan on January 29, 2011, while the anime series will have 13 30 minute episodes that will air in April. And if all of that wasn’t enough, a television special will air at the end of 2010. The voice cast will include Yasunori Matsumoto, Misat Fukuen, Wataru Takagi, Masaaki Tsukada, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Hisako Kyouda, Sakiko Tamagawa, Makoto Aoki and Shõya Chiba.
Astarotte’s Toy Episode 1(Sub)
Astarotte’s Toy Anime
Series name :Astarotte’s Toy
Type :TVTags :Fantasy,Harem,
Status :Ongoing
Review:
The anime series is centered on Astarotte Ygvar, a young succubus who does not like men. Her hatred towards men stems from the fact that her mother slept with thousands of men (the female version of Gene Simmons). One of Astarotte’s servants, whose name is Judit, begins explaining to her that she needs to start forming a harem of men so that when her body matures, she readily has “life-seed” available to her (just try and guess what “life-seed” means). Because they live in a magical land, it is noted that succubus can mate with any type of creature.
I read the manga for a few chapters but stopped on account of gratuitous loliconsim. One loli per show is about all I can handle before it just gets awkward =/. Of course, the story is awkward in general. Sauzfryma anyone?
However, a human has not been seen in the land for thousands of years. So Astarotte decides that her first male companion will be a human, knowing that one would be hard to find.
Moshidora Episode 1
Moshidora Anime
Series name :Moshidora
Type :TV
Tags :Sports,Drama
Status :Ongoing
Synopsis :
The new anime is about a school girl leads a baseball club using lessons from a book called Drucker’s Management.
For those that haven’t seen a Spring Season preview yet, Moshidora is one of the shows slated for the upcoming Spring season. In fact, the series is going to start airing this upcoming Monday (03/14/2011). The odd thing about this show is that it will air all of it’s episodes in the two weeks following that Monday. Anyways, this preview “episode” does give a very general feeling for the show, though at the same time it feels like a huge advertisement for the management book this series is based on. And let’s not even think about all the interviews with the real life businessmen and such that was included in this episode. I just skipped around to all the parts that were relevant to the series, and as of now I’m not too confident on the outlook for this series.
30-sai no Hoken Taiiku Episode 1(Sub)
30 Sai No Hoken Taiiku Anime
Series name :30 Sai No Hoken Taiiku
Type :TV
Tags :Ecchi ,Seinen
Status :Ongoing
Synopsis :A guide book teaching shy men around 30 how to date and have sex with women.
I’m at a loss for words. This anime is not quite like what I’ve seen during my anime-watching years so far. It’s so vastly different, that I’m just going to say that I WILL be covering this show for the Spring 2011 season before discussing anything with you guys.
Anyways, I’m sure you’re all here not to hear what I’m deciding on to blog about, but rather what 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku (30-sai) is going to show us. 30-sai started off as neither a manga nor a visual novel, but rather as a “guidebook”. Whether this “guidebook” for 30-year old virgins works or not, I don’t have the slightest clue because I’m not sure if this was meant to be a serious “let’s get you laid” or one of those joke books. Whatever it is, it’s literally awesome.
So for the people who don’t have any idea about 30-sai other than what I’ve said above, it’s basically about a generic 30-year old salaryman/closet otaku named Hayao Imagawa, who hasn’t even gotten one single girlfriend in his entire life. Luckily, on his 30th birthday, self-proclaimed “sex god” Daigorou descends from the heavens to give Hayao heavenly advice on getting laid. Talk about using HAX.
