How is Venture Shield applied?

All of our films are designed and cut on a computer, meaning there is absolutely no cutting done on the car, which also means very little risk of harm to your vehicle’s bodywork. Also available for all cars is either clear paint or light protection film, and the entire covered bodywork requires no maintenance. We cover an always widening range of cars and motorcycles, and each film comes with a lifetime warranty. Venture Shield is car wash friendly, and can improve the resale value of your car or motorcycle.
What is Venture Shield?
Venture Shield is a clear, invisible paint protection film which is fitted perfectly to the bodywork of any vehicle which it is designed specifically for. It will help with protection from stone chips, sand abrasion as well as bug acids and any other light damage gained from normal road use. It will also prevent differential paint fading, meaning the whole car will remain the same colour.
Why should I need Venture Shield paint protection film?
Venture Shield can help protect full body paintwork, including the bonnet, bumper and lights of cars, and the full paintwork of a motorcycle, including the petrol tank and lights. We can also cover almost any vehicle, so come and have a chat with us if you would like a quote on your vehicle.
Will I need to stop using the vehicle for a period of time after Venture Shield is applied?
After the paint protection film is applied, we advise that you do not use an automated car wash for 24 hours, but you are free to use your vehicle as you would otherwise use it, and washing after that time should present no issues provided the care instructions are followed.
How should I clean my Venture Shield protected vehicle?
We suggest that soap and water is used to clean your vehicle, rather than isopropyl based products. You should also wax the film every time you wax the rest of the paintwork, to prevent differential paint fading. Whilst waxing the vehicle, an amount of wax might gather around the edge of the film, which can easily be removed with a soft, dry cloth. It is not advisable to use pigmented or abrasive waxes, rubbing compounds or polishes on the film as these can damage the film and the underlying paintwork.
If Venture Shield is applied to a freshly painted vehicle, will the paintwork be damaged?
A newly painted vehicle should always be curedin line with a manufacturers or body shops specification. Your nearest Venture Shield approved installer will be able to tell you if your newly painted vehicle is suitable.
Is it possible to fit Venture Shield over Graphics or artwork applied on a vehicle?
The clear nature of Venture Shield film means that the image or aesthetics of artwork will not be interfered with, however if Venture Shield is removed, we cannot guarantee there will be no damage to the artwork. It will depend upon the method of application of the artwork to the bodywork of the vehicle. See your nearest Venture Shield approved installer to confirm if your artwork will be suitable.
