Last weekend I read on Search Engine Land that Google itself is surprised about the success of click-to-call in Google AdWords . This service is now one year active and is already generating millions of calls per month.
Within North America, I think this feature is not used optimally. A waste, because for some advertisers, this is a very interesting option.

Click-to-call ads are interesting for different groups of advertisers, here I will discuss a few:
Local advertisers
This is obviously the most interesting group. If you’re a local company (eg a tiler), these ads is ideal.

Restaurants are also an ideal audience for these ads. I search on my mobile to “restaurant Stephos”, and I can call the restaurant directly to book!
