So you would leave this blank, if I wanted to install it on roofing business blueprint word press blog which you will for you site, you just leave that area blank. I actually meant to do that so I’m just going to install it on “Roofing Business Blueprint”. You can just enter a username here, so let’s just enter roofing business, and the password is. Admin nickname, this is important because this will be the nickname that comes up whenever you make a post on your site. So it will say, you know the post name, and the content of the post and then by someone. so I tend to use my first name, rather than just admin, you know it gives it a little area of familiarity. and maybe even your first name and then some related to the niche. so if you had a golf site, it would be david the roofer.

Email address, you know, just enter in some email address here. site name this is important so I have to throw this in the manual, I’ll just go over it quickly here. So first of all we’ve got to download the two plug-ins, and I know there are quite a few plug ins out there as well. So I recommend giving them a look and seeing if you like any of them and then you can upload them as well. There’s a lot of use for those little things out there. So I just typed in all in one Seo pack, into Google, now I’m on the page. just click download now and download it. okay, and then were going to back and were going to go to Google xml sitemaps. just click on this one here, just going to download this one as well. just real simple, just download it, done.

and finally for themes, we’ll go into that later. But you just find your theme and click download and it will download. okay so you download it to the computer but now what? now what were going to do is upload that to your website and go back and log into your website and actually activate it. so that it’s active on the website. okay so in the manual I talk about uploading unlimited FTP but I’ve realized a lot of hosting companies don’t offer that service. so I’m also going to show you how to do it using filezilla. which is a free FTP website that anyone can use? Just type in filezilla goes up here and you just download the client. so click download and you download it on the roofing business blueprint.

Okay, once you’ve downloaded it you’ll be presented with this screen then so all you’re going to do then is your going to go into site manager and enter your FTP details and click connects. So I’ve browsed to where I’ve got the plug in there. and then over here I have browsed to the website hat I want to install it. so, pretty simple stuff. Then were just going to go to WP connect and then were going to head into the plug ins folder. Just double click here. And you can see I’ve already installed some here, some plug ins. this was a link plug in that I was trying out, it didn’t actually work so don’t bother with that.

so all you do anyway, are you just click on upload and it will upload it. Obviously I’m not going to over write it. You’re going to do that with the second plug in. browse over here and right click and hit upload. and for the themes, it’s real simple. Again all you do is go into the themes folder, and browse to themes where you’ve downloaded it. To your computer on this site. Right click and you hit upload. And that’s it. it’s just that simple, so get the course on the roofing business blueprint.

Okay then, so now the plug ins and the themes are actually on your web server and now all you have to do is activate them on your word press blog. And that is really simple. we’re just going to head back into this site here. And were going to head down to appearance to this here. I’m showing you how to do themes first. then you have all the themes you’ve uploaded here. Got here a few here so that’s the current theme. but then if I were to click here on this one it will give you a preview of what the site will look like then all you do is click activate and it will activate the theme. And you can change this at a later date as well as you can see. So I can just change it to this right now.

Okay, so you’ve got the themes. Then you just go into plug ins. and these two plug ins, although I’ve got them activated right now they wouldn’t be activated in your version. So you would head down here to inactivate plug ins and just click activate and they’ll be instantly activated. it really is that easy.
