New York Breast Augmentation

Many of us, including Pamela Anderson, may have heard a lot about breast augmentation surgeries happening all over the world. But, do we really know how the doctor does it? I mean, putting a sac of silicon in a perfectly normal and beautiful breast is kinda dangerous, isn’t it?
Well, if you talk to a surgeon, breast augmentation surgery is really not that dangerous. The only complications here arise when,
1. The surgery marks become visible.
2. The implant itself is visible, creating “ripples”.
3. The implant interferes with mammography.
These cases are rare, however they do take place and doctors have no option but to perform the surgery again and either remove or relocate the implant to rectify the problem.
Breast augmentation can be done in four different ways. The recovery time usually lasts for a month and, normally, scars fade out as time passes by. Though, when opting for submuscular placement of the implant, one should be ready for a longer recovery time as it involves placing the implant firmly behind a wall of pectoral muscle. One should also remember, this is, probably the safest surgery one can go for as it the implant sits firmly behind all the muscle and doesn’t mess with mammography.
So, what are breast implants made of?
Since the late 19th century, doctors had begun experimenting with various kinds of implants, including paraffin and glass balls (ouch!). Nowadays, saline implants are the most in use, after the banning of silicone implants by the FDA.
Breast augmentation, though looked down upon by some communities, has proved helpful in boosting the self confidence of several ladies in the United States and abroad. The only suggestion here would be to give it deep thought before getting one done.
