Now it’s time to change the nameservers of your domain so that it becomes linked with the new hosting account. You can edit the nameservers by logging into your domain’s backend. Nameserver propagation can take a lot of time so you’ll have to wait. Meanwhile you should keep your previous web hosting account. You should only delete the previous account after three to four days.
The process mentioned above is the most basic method of transferring a website from one host to another. If your website is too big or are not very comfortable with technical stuff then it is a better idea to hand over the job to your hosting company.
