This is a great time of year for racing. Since I recovered well from the race a few weeks ago, I???m enjoying rushing some of the smaller distances. It???s humorous how it abruptly seems all to easy to call everything short following a recent race.

Today has been the 500 Festival Tiny Marathon Coaching Series 15k. It???s a fantastic opportunity to run parts of the actual Mini Convention course, get involved a solid work out, and experience the whole race setting.

For breakfast today I had a serving of Greek natural yoghurts, banana, and two slices of toast capped with strawberry preserves at about Six:15 am. With this I drank about 24-26 ounces regarding water and 7 oz . of java.

I overdressed a little and was sweating more than usual on the warm-up. I decided to drink regarding 12 oz . of water ~20 minutes before the 8am race start off

During the ethnic background I consumed 2-3 ounces regarding Gatorade at every assist station except for the last end with only a mile to travel.

Early in the race I discovered a great group of about 5 guys to run with. We stayed towards the back of the rest the first a number of miles.
