Royal Mail supports Computer Aid
The Royal Mail donated 3,000 used computers for charity to Computer Aid International to be sent in remote areas of Chile.
Children will be able to learn how to browse the web, word-processing and search for information online, so in the future they could be better qualified for possible job opportunities.
The machines will be repaired by Computer Aid, to get a new lease of life by three to four years. Each computer will give the opportunity to 60 children to be trained by computer professionals.
Group Computer Aid has sent more than 160,000 computers in schools, hospitals, and community programs in over 100 countries.
