Article 48 New Baby, New Car!
When I turned thirty, my husband bought me my dream New Ford C-max Scotland car. An audi TT in white, with a tan leather interior. I was overwhelmed. I had owned a TT ten years earlier but I had to sell it when we fell on hard times. However this was like acknowledging that we were not back on our feet. Excitedly I jumped in and my love affair with this fabulous car continued.
Unfortunately I am going to have to sell the car again. Thankfully it is not due to financial hardship nor am I lucky enough to be upgrading to an Audi R8, I wish. The fact is, I have a baby onboard and once he/she arrives I am going to need something a lot more practical.
The Audi TT does have a back seat but the space is very cramped and tiny. Getting a child in an out would be virtually impossible. Plus, where would I put the pram? My husband suggested we have a look at the VW Scirocco but although it is bigger than the TT, its only by a small margin. Maybe I can persuade my husband to upgrade me to an X6! There would be plenty of space for children, dogs, grandparents and I would look stylish! Definitely a consideration, although knowing my husband he will be thinking along the lines of a Renault Scenic! Downgrading cars will mean we have more money in the bank when our new baby arrives. How incredibly sensible and how boring!
