Bike made to fit in a MINI
To keep all customers happy, MINI has introduced a folding bike which can be folded to fit in the boot of a MINI. It is aimed at commuters who park their car on the outskirts of town and cycle through the city centre to avoid congestion charges, and it can also be taken on to public transport free of charge.
The bike easy to use, carry and store, as it is made from high quality components and the lightweight aluminium frame. The folding mechanism is so simple that it can be folded and unfolded in seconds, the bike is folded along the crossbar and handlebars, the saddle can be retracted and the pedals can be folded up.
The bike weighs less than 11kilos, it is equipped with eight gears and 20 inch wheels, and the riding characteristics are similar to those of a standard bike. The bike comes in matt black with silver MINI lettering on the crossbar, a brand logo on the handlebars, Union Jack motif on the rear forks and the chain and bell are highlighted in neon yellow.
The bike would have come handy if I actually lived in London, so there will be no point for me to invest in a bike for my used MINI in Scotland. I’m thinking about buying the bike when I move to London next year to start my new job, as my new work place is based in central London, and also a new MINI to go with the new bike.
