Labour Pains!
I gave birth to twin girls almost three years ago and as all mothers know, it is a painful but amazing experience. It is also well worth it. My labour lasted at total of 10 hours and I was exhausted by the end of it. However I have just endured a labour ten times more hellish. My sister giving birth to my Nephew.
She has endured a 46 hour labour. She started with pains in the early hours of Friday morning. She went to the hospital and after an examination they told her she was on the way. Yippee! As it was still early on in the labour they sent her home to wait.
She managed to suffer through the night without any pain killer but by the morning she went back to the hospital. Unbelievably, they sent her home again. By the afternoon she was in severe pain and practically begged them to admit her into hospital. Thankfully they did.
4pm, 5pm, 6pm! I had heard nothing from the hospital and was starting to get a little anxious. Consequently I decided to get in my Skoda Octavia Dealer Oxford car and go for a drive. I thought it might take my mind off things. 8pm, 9pm, 10pm. This was getting ridiculous. I went to bed at midnight with my mobile clutched in my hand, waiting for a text with good news!
3.00am in the morning, my wonderful baby nephew was born. Thank goodness. I am usually the drama queen in our family but I think she stole my thunder with this one.
