Hyundai is again out in the Indian market with its all new and most awaited Hyundai Verna which has been launched in New Delhi at Durbar Hall, Taj Palace. As per reports, Hyundai expects to boost up the overall sales of with the launch of its new baby Hyundai Verna “Fluidic” in the exponentially growing Indian auto market. Furthermore, with the commencement of new Hyundai Verna, all the major C-Segment Sedans such as Maruti SX4, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta and more, are expected to face a strong antagonism.
The new Hyundai Verna price ranges between Rs 6.99 lakhs to Rs 10.74 lakhs (ex Showroom New Delhi). The car is going to gun straight against the C+ segment cars like Honda City, Fiat Linea, Maruti Suzuki SX4 and Volkswagen Vento.
With Hyundai Verna Price figures state that the petrol model of 1.4L is available at Rs 6.99 lakhs and goes up to Rs 9.64 lakhs for top variant of 1.6 SX(O) AT. The diesel model 1.4L starts from Rs 8.09 lakhs and goes up to Rs 10.74 lakhs in top variants i.e. 1.6 SX(O) AT. This could be considered as a revolution in the auto industry. Some more features embedded in Hyundai Verna are, a smart key with the button start, the new and innovative electrically adjustable and foldable rear view mirrors, all new rear proximity parking sensors, enhanced 6 air bags, advanced rear parking assist system and above all an electro chromic mirror, which is again an innovative idea for a four wheeler luxury car. The new model can be considered as a powered jumbo at reasonable price.
Talking about the mileage, the new Hyundai Verna 1.4 Petrol offers a mileage of 17.43 kmpl however the other petrol variant 1.6 Petrol offers a mileage of17.01kmpl. On the other hand the diesel variants of the new saloon promises a decent mileage of 1.4 Diesel – 23.50 kmpl and the other diesel variant 1.6 Diesel offers a mileage of 22.32 kmpl.
