Relaxing In The Moment
Understanding the best way to relax is something that is very personal. It of course has a lot to do with what is bothering you and what is going on in your life. We tend to hold onto the stress, the worry, and the tension in our lives which causes us to lose a relaxed state of being. Although, when we can come from a more relaxed place, stress and worry are less overwhelming. By staying balanced and relaxed, all moments are manageable and easy. But once we reach a state of tension in our bodies and minds, it can feel hard to release it. It is very important to get back to that state of relaxation and contentment in our lives once we have lost it.
We can find many different techniques to ease relaxation back into our lives. But as soon as we contemplate what is happening, we again feel the stress, tension, and worry that brought it on in the first place. And so it seems natural and more reliable to go the problem, to the source of stress. To see the moment and the issue that is taking away your relaxed feeling. Look at it from another point of view, try to see it differently, and look at how it is making you feel. Does the way you feel really help you deal with the situation or does it make it worse? If you let go of trying to figure it out, does your body relax? If you stop worrying about the future, do you feel better? This may seem too simple, but the issue and how you can relax rely on it.
If you can understand that how you see the moment, how you look and feel about it, is what is causing you to feel stressed, then you can let it go. If you can realize the moment will be as it is, regardless of how you feel, you can let go of the tension you feel. If you realize the stress is there because you are too involved in what you can not change, you can let it go. A lot of this is about acceptance and letting go. This is true. Long-term relaxation comes from the acceptance of the moment and letting it go. The moment will still exist and it will change, but how you are affected by it will be different. You do not have to experience all these troubling emotions in order to cope with it. You can feel and think better without them. The moment will feel easier when you accept it and let it go. You will relax within the very moment that is causing you to feel stressed without needing anything else to help you cope. Relax by letting go, by accepting the moment and whatever the future may bring. And you will relax.
