Smart Parts Vibe belongs to the cheapest paintball gun Smart Parts has produced. It was introduced in the market together with SP1, EOS, and Ion XE. This gun may be cheap but it surely gives a very good performance making it popular to recon players and to those who are new in the sport.
Design and Features. One can easily notice its attractive shape and contour. Weighing only of 1lb and 11oz, the marker is one of the lightest paintball guns out there. Even with the tank and the barrel on it, the marker is still comfortable and easy to handle. Without the barrel, it has a length of about 8.75 inches which is quite small making it more convenient to control.
The Vibe is equipped with a glass fiver reinforced nylon grip for its frame and the body which is basically more durable and harder compared to common plastics. The Vibe has a maximum firing rate of 11 bps but can be improved with an upgraded circuit board. Its operating pressure is around 180 psi and works perfectly using CO2, nitrogen or compressed air. If you preferred using others, you need to open the grip and remove the battery. Then, you need to put the battery back while pushing down the power button. You would know that it is now set to HPA mode when the button blinked twice. These are the plain and simple steps one should follow. Never ignore manuals. It really does make a lot of difference.
Cleaning and Maintenance. Because of its design, maintenance is quite a breeze. Placing the bolt at the back, makes it easy for cleaning. One just needs to clean their gun regularly and lubricate them, especially after each game. You also need to ensure that your 9v batteries are charged properly. Sometimes, when you need to disassemble your gun, you need to be sure that all parts are returned properly to its places.
You may want to upgrade some of its parts to further enhance its performance. To increase its firing rate, you may change its board. You may also change the barrels. Since the Vibe uses the standard Smart Parts threading, any Smart Part barrel will fit.
