The New Audi Q3 SUV

The new Audi Q3 SUV made its debut at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show in April 2011, the SUV which is designed to be as comfortable during city driving as it is offroad with increased ground clearance and quattro all-wheel-drive.

The Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system is available as an option to enable drivers to tailor the Audi Q3’s driving characteristics; it features comfort, auto, dynamic and efficiency modes all of which influence the responses of the throttle and steering.

There are two specification levels for UK Audi Q3 models, the SE and the S line. The SE comes with:

• 17-inch alloy wheels
• contrasting painted bumpers
• chrome window trims
• aluminium roof rails
• rear parking sensors
• dual-zone climate control
• Concert audio system
• Bluetooth interface
• Audi Music Interface iPod connection
• light and rain sensors

It also comes with navigation preparation, enabling customers to ‘activate’ navigation retrospectively by purchasing an SD card if required. The S Line models are upgraded to 18-inch alloy wheels, S line exterior and interior styling enhancements and xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lamps and LED rear tail lights.

The new Audi Q3 offers a load bay capacity of 460 litres which, with the split/folding rear seat stowed, rises to 1,365 litres. All engines for the Audi Q3 will initially be available with direct fuel injection and turbochargers. The Audi A3 will hopefully be available to order at many dealers of new and used cars in Carlisle and across the UK.
