Water Damage To Check Before Your Sell Your Phone
In quite a few instances people have been using mobile phone recycling as a way to get rid of their old phones and to make some cash for phones. Unfortunately, a lot of these sell my mobile sites will NOT take water damaged phones. In order to find out if your mobile is water damaged before you try to sell your mobile, there is one big thing you can check! Most all of the mobile phones these days have a water or sticker indicator on the mobile phone. Its usually called a mobile phone water detection sticker. Here is a little diddy from one of the sites I found online:
Open the case of your mobile (cell) phone. Do you see a round white sticker. This is a water damage sticker, which changes colour if moisture gets into this bit of the phone, and will be used to void your warranty if your phone stops working for any reason. A single droplet of water placed on the sticker turns it bright red (in the case of my phone, anyway).
If you sell your mobile to ANY store or you go in for a warranty problem to the store you bought it from, this is the first thing they check. A mobile phone with anything else can most likely be fixed. But, a phone with water damage is pretty much unfixable! The only problem with this sticker is that sweat can also cause it to become red or bright pink. In any case, keep your phone away from any type of wetness if you want to sell your mobile to a mobile phone recycling or cash for phones site.
About a year ago, I tried sending one of my phones back, they said because of the water damage this was not possible. Boo! Phone recycling is a superb way to make money, but don’t try to fool anyone because they will find you out right away, especially if they are professionals. If you do have a good working mobile phone and you want to sell my mobile or sell my mobile phone, try looking online for sites that offer: phone recycling, iPhone recycling, will do recycle mobile or offer cash for phones for mobile phone recycling.
If your mobile phone is in working condition, you can actually get quite a bit of cash for phones. Specifically, phones that are newer and in working condition will give you the most amount of money back ie; iPhone recycling is going to give you a better price than a no name brand, a foreign brand (Japanese, French remakes) or a brand that is older!
