Who Writes Wholesale Reviews?
Everyone seems to be happy that there is an overdose of information on the internet. If you are a retailer and planning to buy wholesale, all you need to do is type ‘wholesale reviews’ in your search engine toolbar and watch the millions of results populate. There are people who claim that they can research any wholesaler and prevent themselves from any wholesale deals scam with the help of Google. But, think about it for a moment. If there is genuine information available so freely, why are there so many wholesale deals scams at large? Seems to be contradictory! In this case, either one of the two conditions seems to be true:
- The retailers are ignorant. They fail to do an elementary Google search and thus lose thousands of dollars due to a simple failure to read a few wholesale reviews!
- The retailers read wholesale reviews, but the information contained in them is inaccurate.
To me, the second conclusion seems to be more valid. I am sure no one would like to lose their money to these scams again and again if all it took was a Google search to save the heartburn and the quantum of money lost. The root cause of all the mayhem, according to me, lies in who really writes these wholesale reviews. There are several types.
Here is a look at them:
Wholesalers Themselves: It is shocking to know that a large number of wholesale reviews today are written by the wholesalers themselves. It is a marketing gimmick. These reviews are posted on different sites, with wholesalers posing as different customers. Many of these accounts are used by wholesalers to falsely publicize their services under a fake identity.
Some of these wholesalers provide really good service. They use these wholesale reviews to get some quick publicity. However, there are others that offer poor quality service.
Affiliate Marketers: Many wholesale reviews have affiliate marketing programs. The affiliates get paid if you buy from the wholesaler. You will get the products at the same price, not even knowing that there was a middleman involved. But in reality, the wholesale reviews that influenced your choice were written by biased sources, many of which have never dealt with the wholesaler.
Blog Owners: There are many blog owners who are making a living out of writing wholesale reviews. Check online, there are many tutorials that help people do this. There are even some companies that do this. They make money through Google AdSense. These bloggers may not have been hired by the wholesaler, but their reviews are based on Google search and other wholesale reviews. How effective do you think this will be?
Customers & Experts: Less than 10 percent of all the wholesale reviews online are written by legitimate customers and experts. There are many companies that hire full time employees to research the wholesalers. There are the reviews that you must read.
Do not fall under the illusion of plenty. Most wholesale reviews online are spins i.e. made from other reviews and hence, are useless! There is still a scarcity of credible information on Wholesale deals Scam.
