Mahindra Mini Xylo launch in pipeline
After launching Mahindra Xylo in January 2009, this time Mahindra wants to enter in the small car segment. Mahindra is planning to make a entry with a hatchback entry of the smaller version of Mahindra Xylo named as Mahindra Xylo mini. Mahindra is the one of the major player in big car segment and is all set to make and show their presence in this small car segment. Mahindra Xylo Mini will be available in diesel variant. As there is a constant hike in petrol prices expectations are made that this new Mahindra car will surely catch the first eye of the car consumer. This new Mahindra Xylo is also blended with all the features which a car customer is looking to have in its car. It can be termed as a perfect car in this segment, and it is expected that Mahindra will surely come out of the image of taxi cars with this model. It is expected that company will launch new Mahindra Mini Xylo by the Mid of 2011, as currently the company is testing the car’s efficiency in their trail unit at Chakan. Speculations are made on the Mahindra Mini Xylo Price, it is expected that company bring this model with a price tag of Rs 4-5 lakh. The design of this new Mahindra Xylo Mini is based on its forerunner Honda Xylo but this mini model of Honda Xylo is less than four meter. Due to its small size this will surely cut the custom duty by 12 percent.
The engine used in Mahindra Mini Xylo is 1.5L 1498cc, 3 Cylinder diesel engine. In additon to this to deliver a good suspension Mahindra Xylo Mini comprises with Independent Coil Springs, Multi Link Coil Springs. Among other Mahindra cars Mahindra Scorpio is the most popular SUV in India. Currently Mahindra Scorpio prices Rs.7.21 lakhs in India.
