Learn How To Astral Project Naturally
The ability to astral project is something which everyone already has naturally; in fact, you’ve probably astral projected before without knowing it. What we’re going to talk about here is learning to consciously astral project and have control over where your astral body goes.
We’re going to assume that you already know what the astral plane is and that you know about your astral body. Instead, we’ll go ahead and discuss methods that can help you learn how to astral project. Everyone does best with different techniques, so you may want to try different ones until you find one which is best for you.
There’s one technique which you can practice as you’re lying in bed about to go to sleep. There are five steps to this method.
*First; relax your body completely, trying to achieve a state of deep relaxation throughout your body. While you’re lying there, tense and then release all of your muscles, starting from your toes and working your way towards your head. You may start feeling very heavy; this is natural and indicates deep physical relaxation.
*Second; Breathe slowly and deeply. This is something which is done while meditating. Focus on the sensation of the air moving through your lungs. Exhale as slowly as you inhale, imagining your stress floating away with each exhalation. Try not to fall asleep as you do this, though you may need to try this a few times before you can remain awake during this step.
*Third; Concentrate on the feeling of your body’s total relaxation. Think of it as a stone or a lump of earth; something which is heavy and immobile. Now refocus your attention to your astral body; think about how light it feels, weightless in fact. Close your eyes and visualize your astral body floating away on the breeze.
*Fourth; Now you may have the experience of being able to see perfectly well in your darkened room which should now be illuminated by a purple light; even though your eyes are closed! Turn your attention to the light which is coming from your ceiling.
*Fifth; Visualize yourself pulling this light from the ceiling towards your astral body. You’ll feel like your floating (your astral body will in fact be floating; if you look down, you might see your physical body still in bed).
If you’ve been able to make it through all of these steps, you’ve done it! You can now depart on astral travels. If you can’t astral project this way, there’s another method which you can try.
This one is known as the gazing technique and it’s actually quite simple. Choose an object which you can see while you’re lying in bed and focus on it. It doesn’t matter what this object is, just make sure that it will be within your line of sight while you’re lying down.
With this object in your line of sight, lie in bed and focus on it. Even as your eyes begin to feel heavy, continue to focus on the object, staring at it. Eventually you won’t be able to keep your eyes open, but you should be able to see it even now with your eyes closed. You might feel like sitting or standing, so go ahead; but don’t panic when you see your sleeping physical body lying in bed!
If you aren’t immediately successful with these techniques, don’t give up. There are other ways to astral project, though any technique can take some practice. Be persistent and you will learn how to astral project before too long.
It’s not really all that important how you start to astral project. Whatever works for you is great; the important thing is to let your subconscious mind know that it’s OK for your astral body to depart to travel the astral plane and that there’s nothing to fear. One way you can get this message across to your subconscious mind is by using affirmations.
There are a lot of different methods of learning to astral project and whatever works for you is a good way to go.
Hypnosis, especially guided hypnosis works for many; having an expert there to explain everything and tell you exactly what you need to do can be extremely helpful.
New audio technologies called binaural beats can also help you learn to astral project. These specially designed recordings consist of slightly different frequencies played into each ear. The effect of these recordings is to place the listener into the meditative, deeply relaxed state where astral projection comes naturally.
Learning to astral project isn’t as hard as you might think. It’s a capacity which all of us have inherently. It’s just a matter of practicing and fine tuning it. After all, you were born with the ability to learn to ride a bicycle, though you had to practice it. Learning to astral project is much the same; it’s just learning to use the abilities you already possess.
