Work for a rest!

I used to go to work out of necessity. I needed to pay my rent, my bills and I wanted to be able to go and enjoy myself. I worked as a hairdresser. I didn’t hate my job but if somebody would have given me the option of staying at home or going to work, I would definitely chosen to stay home.

If it quiet funny in life how things come around full circle. I now got to work for a break! I have a three year old little girl and a one year old boy. They are wonderful children but like most kids, very demanding. I only work part time, three days a week in total but I really cherish that time on my own.

My mother looks after the children whilst I am at work. I drop them off on my way to the salon. Once they have left the Belfast Used Cars car, a sense of peace and harmony comes over me. Even a day in a very hectic hair salon seems to be a rest from running around after two toddlers.

Some people argue that it is babies that make parenthood such hard work but I really beg to differ. When the children were babies I only had to feed and bath them. The rest of the time they were sleeping. Nowadays the whole house is treated like a playground with hazards on every corner.

I love my kids and I would definitely not be without them, however I am certainly not having anymore.
