Tour of Duty is another tv legend!
Tour of Duty season 1-3 follows an American infantry platoon on a tour of duty throughout the Vietnam War. Tour of Duty dvd set was the first collection to regularly show Americans in combat in Vietnam and was one of several similarly-themed series to be produced in the wake of the acclaimed Oliver Stone film, Platoon. The show was created by Steve Duncan and L. Travis Clark, and produced by Zev Braun. As for acting, it couldn’t be better. All people are perfectly cast and the mostly superior acting talents involved bring tremendous depth to their textured characters. These people all seem so real. So often watching this show would make me angry because it was so frightning and so true. Above all, it showed the way the people back home were so cruel to the veterans and spit on them and called them baby killers. This show has everything. Brotherhood, strife, politics, morality and ethics, courage, ambiguity, everything. “Tour of Duty” should be seen by all. Hope the actors seem on more shows.
