What do you do with your cell phone once it is no longer usable, because you’ve upgraded to a better model that can play the latest “Angry Birds” or it no longer works because say, in the case of my unfortunate friend, you went took a bath with it? (Poor decision, yes, but did that baby shine!) Throwing it away seems like an awesome solution. It’s quick and easy with no foreseeable repercussions. Besides, cell phones aren’t like cars, right? When a mobile phone has run its course, it’s done. Simply put, throwing away your old cell phone is costly, both to the environment and potentially to your wallet. Selling that communication miracle to a recycling firm is one of the best available options.

They are able to make money by mass collecting old, obsolete, and unused phones and then amassing all the little amounts precious metals found on every circuit board, including gold, silver, titanium, copper, and platinum.
They are able to do this efficiently and without dirtying themselves with all the hazardous and volatile minerals that are found in the batteries of old cell phones (keeping them out of Earth’s hair), which is the main reason you should sell your mobile to them rather than try this yourself (keeping them out of your hair). Much like a car, the previously mentioned companies are able to strip down and refurbish phones from old parts and resell them. Unlike a used car, these phones work reliably for their new owners (depending on carrier).
Selling your mobile phone is a wonderful option to have and know about in this fragile and volatile economy. And being able to make a little side money helping out the fragile and volatile environment, well, when I think to myself, what a wonderful world!
