A Review on Women’s Capri Pants from BodyPost

I was in search of the right Capri pants for me. I knew it won’t be easy to find a pair that suits well in different occasions. I checked two top brand products and realized that BodyPost is the one for me with exciting design and awesome features to keep you cool and dry during workout sessions.

Though I know that a perfect pair for all these activities is not so easy to find, so I went for a check out in the market and I started with two leading sports wear company, one of them was BodyPost’s newly released the Women’s Sports Spandex Pants and other one was the Adidas Studio Sport Capris. The one I select will be the lucky one to accompany me on my summer trip to Hawaii, and possibly to earn themselves a place as part of my daily workout kit!

The pants feature the Adidas CLIMALITE system built into the fabric, designed to wick wetness away from the body. The Adidas pants come in 3 color combinations – “pink/candy/black”, “phantom/fresh candy” and “macaw/black”. The governing color on each pant of Adidas is the black or phantom (seems like a different shade of black) with another beautiful contrasting color at waistband.

On the other hand, the BodyPost pants are of bright coral color with dark anthracite and black color. The BodyPost Moisture Transport System (MTS) is included here to perform as the CLIMALITE system feature of the Adidas product. Both the products are designed to perform the same job of keeping you dry and cool during your extreme workout sessions. According to design, the Adidas version is typical of the brands sporty style, casual and feature the Brand Logo printed below the waistband. BodyPost’s pants are a little different with a ‘cutout’ design on the back (that looks very sexy) and gathering detail at the bottom of each leg.

Both pants have a deep waistband, which can fit to all figures. However, the BodyPost versions also have a drawstring waist option, which is great for adjusting to your personal requirements. The Adidas Capri pants are made of a new material known as ‘sueded polyester’, which has a lovely soft feel to it.

However, though it felt very soft to touch, I felt it may become uncomfortable in hot climates or during an intense workout session. The BodyPost Capri pants are manufactured as spandex pants, which I thought might give a clingy look, but the pants only contain a “touch” of spandex which accentuates your figure without showing at all ‘clingy’. The Adidas pants come in four sizes and will set cost you $40, while the BodyPost pants have 3 size options and will cost only $29.50 which seems wallet-friendly.

According to my expectations of what I want from a pair of Capri pant, I think that the BodyPost product had the edge. The Adidas is a famous brand with excellent quality products and a good sporty look but I was looking something more than that.

The BodyPost spandex pants are versatile in design and will enable you to wear it on any occasion. Its high quality sports features will make an excellent addition to your sports kit collection when you bring it home.
