My Discovery about BodyPost Capri Pants
A best pair of Capri pants should be the one that can be taken to my summer vacation and can be used for multipurpose. Although I knew that choosing a perfect pair which steps up to the mark for all of these activities is very hard task. So in my search I tried two of the market leaders, I though might be up to the challenge – the Women’s Sports Spandex Pants newly released by BodyPost and the Adidas Studio Sport Capris. My overall winner will be the lucky one to accompany me on my summer trip to Hawaii, and possibly to earn themselves a place as part of my daily exercises kit!
The Adidas pants are available in three color combinations – “black/candy/pink”, “fresh candy/phantom” and “black/macaw”. The governing color on each pant of Adidas is the phantom or black (seems like a different shade of black) with one more beautiful contrasting color at waistband. It also contains a built in CLIMALITE system that is designed to take away moisture from the body. The BodyPost Capri pants are available in a much brighter coral color, as well as the darker anthracite and black versions.
The BodyPost Moisture Transport System (MTS) is included to perform as the climalite system feature of the Adidas product. Both performs the same job, which is to keep you cool and dry during the extreme workout sessions. So far so good. According to the design, the Adidas pants are typical of the brands casual, sporty style and feature the Brand Logo just below the waistband.
BodyPost pants are a little different with a cutout design on the backside (that looks very attractive) and gathering detail at the bottom of each leg. Both the pants come with a deep waistband so that it is suitable for all types of figures. However the BodyPost pants have a unique drawstring waist option that will help in adjusting to your own requirements. The material used for the Adidas Capri pants is called ‘sueded polyester’ which feels very soft and lovely.
But I felt that it may become uncomfortable to wear in hot climates or during extreme workout hours. The BodyPost Capri pants are marketed as spandex pants, which I thought might give a clingy look, but the pants only contain a touch of spandex which accentuates your body without showing at all clingy.
The Adidas pants are available in four sizes with the price of 40 dollars each; on the other hand you can have the BodyPost Spandex pants with a wallet-friendly price of just $29.50 each with three different sizes. In a word, according to my expectations of what I need from a pair of Capri pant, I think that the BodyPost product had the edge.
The Adidas version was excellent quality, and had a very sporty look and feel to them, but I was searching for something which is more versatile. The eye-catching design features of the BodyPost spandex pants will enable me to wear them on a variety of occasions whilst on vacation, and the high performance sports features will also make them an excellent addition to my sports kit when I bring it home.
