DU Admissions Second Cut Off List For OBC Students
A number of Delhi University colleges today came out with a lowered cut-off list for OBC candidates, hoping to round up admissions in the category over the next two days.
Listen, even as the last season of admission this year showed that there was much in store for OBC students that many colleges had failed to fill the vacancies in the category reserved.
Hansraj, Gargi, Lady Shri Ram, Sri Venkateshwara Hindu College, and have a high profile colleges, which lowered the cut-off range of topics including the coveted B. Com (noble) and Eco (Hons).
Although Hindus lowered B Com (Hons) cut-off percentage for OBC candidates 85.5, Hansraj it reduced to 82 and put it on LSR 89.25. Dayal Singh College is ready to admit students to fill the quota of 79 percent.
Colleges were asked by the University to declare two other lists cutoff for the category and to reduce the relaxation of a maximum of 10 percent, if necessary, after many seats were left vacant, despite five rounds admissions.
The University also asked schools not to transfer the seats reserved for general category students until further notice from the government.
Admission to the published list will be held on 18 and 19. The Ministry of HRD wrote last month in the university, asking him to implement 27% reservation for OBC students in “letter and spirit” after the case was brought to the attention of the government.
