An Appointment
This year’s birthday, my boyfriend sent me a scarf as a gift. Staring at the beautiful scarf, it reminded me a melting story.
Many years ago, a girl lived a poor but happy life with her parents. On winter, her parents and she took a taxi to another city, but they got an accident on the half way. Her parents were eager to protect her, her mother wrapped the girl’s head with her scarf; her father hugged her on the other side. At last, she was alive but her parents died. She took the scarf on her arm and felt depressed. Then the girl was sent to orphan asylum.
In the orphan asylum, the girl met up with a boy, the boy was elder than the girl. The boy’s parents abandoned him when he was born. But he was a positive boy, when he saw the girl; he always smiled to the girl. After he knew the girl’s story, he felt sorry for her. Then, the boy comforted the girl. Since then, the boy told funny stories to the girl, he wanted to make the girl laugh. Day after day, the girl started to believe in the boy and she considered the boy as her relative. They became best friends.
One day, the girl sat on a chair and was crying sadly. The boy looked for him everywhere. When he found the girl, he came to her and asked what had happened. It turned out that the girl would be taken away by a family soon, she didn’t want to leave the boy alone, but this was the orphan asylum’s arrangement. The boy felt sad but he still comforted her. Then they made an appointment, the boy would come to meet her when grew up. The girl gave the scarf to the boy as a keepsake. Two days later, the girl left.
Three months later, the boy was taken away by another family. After ten years, they became adults. The girl went to college, occasionally, the girl saw a young man tied a scarf (http://www.lookbuys.com/category/womens-accessories.html/page/1 ) which is similar to the one she sent to the boy. Then, she walked straightly to the man and she found he was just the boy she met in the orphan asylum. And the man recognized the girl soon. They smiled to each other.
