Getting rid of leg cramps
Due to hectic life today people usually complaint of leg cramp this pain usually happens in a leg muscle. This pain happens due to a muscle spasm is when your leg muscles contracts too hard. This problem usually occurs in calf muscle, below and behind a knee. It also affects small muscles of the feet affected.
Usually this pain last for few minutes or seconds but in number of cases this pain last for about 15 minutes or more. The severity of the pain varies. It has been found that muscle may remain warm for up to 24 hours after a leg cramp. Cramps usually occurs when individual is resting usually when sleeping. They are often called night cramps. As these cramps may wake you up while sleeping it could have distressing effects if your sleep is regularly disturbed by these night cramps.

The symptoms of leg cramp are severe leg pain, Muscle tenderness, unable to move the leg etc. And the causes of leg cramps are Dehydration, scrupulous exercises, Muscle tiredness due to over exertion, over weight, diminished blood supply, Nerve abnormality
Let’s go through some home remedies for leg cramps.
1. Drinking a warm glass of milk before going to bed.
2. Having Chamomile tea 3 to 4 times daily for about two weeks. For preparing Chamomile tea first of all for every cup of water, take two or three teaspoons of chamomile flower. Boil a water and let the flower steep in it for a few minutes. Strain, after that you can add sugar or honey what ever you like you can add always drink warm Chamomile tea.
3. Taking hot shower before going to bed is good idea for getting rid of leg cramps.
4. While lying on bed try to stretch the legs as far as you can according to you capacity and keep legs in same position for half an hour.
5. While standing, push your heel onto the floor and bend your toes upwards. By doing this you can get rid of leg cramps. Pressing your toes against the wall and stretching calf muscles is good exercise for those individuals who regularly face leg cramps problem
