Small Cleaning for Me, Big Victory for Myself
Many people disagree, but I am sure that nothing in this world worth having comes easy. Not even the smallest things. More of that, sometimes we have to fight more for things that we consider insignificant than the important and the “big” things. This comes to tell us that we are too focused on things that sometimes have not meaning at all, or if they do have any, it is so small that it is not important. So, try to enjoy everything, that you have achieved, no matter how inconsequential it may look.
Let’s take me for instance. Just a few days ago I had be the post tenancy cleaner of my home. Usually I call a professional company for this job but this I didn’t have the money and I was “forced” to finish the job myself. However, it appeared to be not that hard that I thought. So, at the end of the procedure, when I looked at what I was done throughout the whole day I was pretty pleased and a bit proud with the final result.
So, here is what I did in order to achieve what I call one of the biggest successes in my life.
I started with some vacuum cleaning of all the carpeting in the house. When I was ready with that I removed several small but actually very stubborn stains from my rugs. After that I removed all the fingerprints and the dust from the mirrors, the windows and the shelves in the house. The kitchen and the bathroom, which I cleaned next, were a bit harder than the rest of the rooms but they were certainly not impossible to clean. I dealt with all the grease, the mould and the smells in these both areas and at 5 p.m. I was ready with everything.
A few hours later, when the landlord came, he was impressed by the condition of its property. He even asked me for the phone of the post tenancy cleaners that I used, so when I told him that what he sees was done only by me and on top of that in just one day he was even more impressed.
So, be happy with the small victories in your life because they are what makes you truly happy.
