Mobility Scooter Batteries

Introduction

Mobility scooter batteries are an investment and the choice of the most suitable battery is the result of the correct evaluation of the technical and economical factors involved. The FIAMM ‘cyclic range’ of batteries has, as the name implies, been designed to maximise the number of cycles it can perform. In order for these batteries to achieve maximum performance and maximum number of cycles, they need to be maintained well and it is for this reason a suitable recharge system is necessary.

Applications

All FIAMM batteries have been specifically developed to enhance economy of operation, reliability and energy output. To better respond to the requests of specific market sectors and increasing market demands. Apart from being a essential component of mobility scooters, typical applications for these batteries also include:

Golf Carts and Buggies

Electric Powered Mobility Vehicles

Electric Lawn Mowers

Photovoltaic Systems

Electric Power Tools

Electric Wheelchairs

Toys

Battery Construction

Case Material: Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) UL-94 (V0 plastic available on request). Life Expectancy: 5 years according to Eurobat standards.

Battery Specification

The FIAMM 12FLB100 12V 26Ah battery is part of the HIGHLITE range of batteries which been specifically designed to give optimal standby performance for applications requiring high-rate discharges.

FIAMM HIGHLITE batteries are Valve Regulated Maintenance Free types with the electrolyte absorbed in microporous glass fibre separators.

HIGHLITE batteries can be installed in cabinets or on racks and minimum installation space is required to the high density characteristics of this range.

FIAMM operates a program of continuous improvement, investing in manufacturing processes, equipment and technology.

FIAMM’s standby battery manufacture conforms to ISO 9001 and ISO14001 quality assurance. Continuous investment in battery technology is reflected by means of premium products that are of the highest quality and reliability.
