Comparison between “Athletic Generator” by BodyPost and Under Armour Yoga pants
I was searching for a warm, stylish and comfortable pair of legging yoga bottoms for long. I have reviewed the market with two renowned brands, BodyPost and Under Armour. BodyPost have newly added these new yoga pants to their “Athletic Generator” range, and I wanted to see if their performance actually matched the hype. However Leggings from Under Armour is one of the widely used sports kit that would be a nice choice for winter holiday. My findings are as follows:
Two colors are available in BodyPost bottoms – Black with Lemon stitch around the pocket and back and Black with Lilac contrast. They have flattering flared legs, and give a “fitted” look without looking tight. The UA leggings also have two colors – black with pacific blue stitch, or pacific blue with a lilac stitch. Under Armour product looks a little tight for average figure and only fits with the slimmest figures. If you consider design priority, BodyPost bottoms should be the first choice. They are a much more forgiving and figure enhancing fit. Also, the color choices are classier, as I think the pacific blue choice offered by Under Armour to be overly bright; something I would not feel comfortable wearing.
Moisture transport system and stay cool and stay dry technology are 2 common features of both pants that will keep you warm in cold and cool throughout hard working sessions. They both feature anti-bacterial technology integrated into the fabric, which would be welcome during long term wear. The Under Armour bottoms are designed solely for physical activity, whereas the BodyPost ones can also be used as informal wear. The UA yoga pants would be great as an additional layer used under other pants during extreme cold weather due to their tight fit. It will also give you a good feeling when you are working in extreme cold. The “Athletic Generator” ones would be more versatile, as they are suitable for all types of activities, and can also be used as leisure wears.
The materials used for the pants are of superb quality. Both bottoms are machine washable and fast drying. This feature makes them both perfect for everyday use. Too close to call. The Under Armour Base leggings cost a hefty 69.99$ each, whereas the Athletic Generators breeze in at $38.50 only. Both include free delivery. The BodyPost bottoms definitely nail it at this point!
Above mentioned points give a clear cause for me to select BodyPost Hybreeze Sports Generators. The Under Armour pants were strong contenders on certain points, for example, if I needed some bottoms to wear under other ones during extreme cold conditions I would possibly choose these. But the tight fitting appearance, high price tag and odd looking pacific blue color of UA pants insist me to pick the other one. I would like to have the BodyPost one for its versatile design and fashionable look.
