My review on the Yoga Pants by the BodyPost and Under Armour
As you know today the two top contenders for yoga pants are BodyPost and Under Armour. I wanted to see how pants from both company works.
BodyPost have recently added these new yoga pants to their “Athletic Generator” collection. The Under Armour “UA Base Leggings” also have some great reviews, and I was in doubt which ones would be perfect for my impending winter vacation. The BodyPost pants are available in two options – Black with a contrasting lemon stitching around the pockets and on the back, or black with lilac contrast. They include flattering flared legs, and give a “fitted” appearance without being tight. Similarly UA bottoms are of 2 colors with Black-Pacific Blue and Pacific Blue-Lilac combination. They have a much stretched look, which I think highlight every imperfection, and be flattering only on the slim figures. The BodyPost bottoms are the definite style winner when you consider design. These are designed to fit in any type of figure. Also, the color choices are classier, as I found the pacific blue choice offered by Under Armour to be overly bright; something I would not feel comfortable wearing.
Both of these legging style bottoms feature their own cool and dry technology, which is perfect for winter activities, when you may get hot and sweaty even though the temperature is low. Both the Pants feature anti bacterial technology incorporated into the fabric, which would be welcome during long term wear. The Under Armour leggings are designed exclusively for exercise, whereas the BodyPost ones also can double up as informal wear. The UA yoga pants would be great as an additional layer used under other pants during extreme cold due to their tight fit. They would also be good when going on a long run during cold weather. But the “Athletic Generator” is a versatile one which satisfies your all extreme hard activities as well as when you are on a holiday. Both bottoms are of made of excellent, high quality materials, and are machine washable, with fast drying fabric. These features make those pants daily usable.
Price: The cost of the UA base bottom is 69.99$ each, on the other hand you can get the BodyPost Athletic Generators with just $38.50 with free delivery. The BodyPost bottoms definitely nail it at this point!
Final verdict: Above mentioned factors give a clear cause for me to select BodyPost Hybreeze Athletic Generators. Though if you need to wear something under other one in extremely cold conditions, Under Armour bottoms would be the best choice. But the tight fitting style, high price tag and strange looking pacific blue color of Under Armour bottoms insist me select the other one. The BodyPost one is by far the most versatile and stylish choice.
