The same goes if you have a blog to your website. Writing an interesting piece will drive more traffic to your website.

Newspapers’ power is slowly decreasing but it is still a good way to advertise. Ask about discounts for a regular, continuous ad. Instead of publishing each week you can save money on an advert lasting for several months.
